Bardo Consulting Group, Inc. (BCG) is a national appraisal, personal property management, and consulting firm founded in Chicago, IL in 1980. We help clients to acquire, maintain, and manage valuables through a network of specialists in appraisal, downsizing, estate planning, bankruptcy, finance, insurance, and tax planning.

Pamela Bardo, President & CEO of the Firm, is a Certified Member of the Appraisers Association of America. A former museum director, Pamela holds numerous Board Certifications from two national appraisal associations including general contents, antiques, decorative arts, and fine arts. She complies with the Appraisal Foundation's published standards of practice.

She supports private individuals, attorneys, CFPs, CPAs, investors, and wealth managers to appraise tangible property as a measurable asset in forming family partnerships, foundations, trusts, IRS defensible documents and high value charitable donations. She has extensive at trial and is an expert in damage-loss insurance litigation, divroce settlements, and mediation.

The firm has appraised works for the Art Institute of Chicago, Smart Museum, Driehaus Museum, Saint Louis Science Center, BMO Harris Bank, R.S. Johnson Fine Art, Ripon College, Woman's Athletic Club of Chicago, Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, Northwestern University, The Episcopal Church of Chicago, and Yale University.

Pamela Pierrepont Bardo

President & CEO

Pamela Pierrepont Bardo, A.S.A., A.A.A. credentials are unique in the appraisal world. A former museum director, she holds eight national certifications from the two major organizations that test and certify appraisers - the American Society of Appraisers and the Appraisers Association of America.

Pamela Pierrepont Bardo has lectured all across America for different organizations including Chubb Insurance Company, International Association of Financial Planners, Merrill Lynch, Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE), the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the Chicago Bar Association Alliance For Women Committee, the Chicago Bar Association Creative Arts Committee, Northern Trust Bank of California, Junior League of Chicago and New York, Cosmopolitan Club of New York and many others.

In 2021, she was awarded the President's Award for the outstanding contribution to the Philip Maher designed 1929 landmark, Woman’s Athletic Club of Chicago where she has been Curator of Collections there since 2000. In 2022 she authored the book, A Guide to The Treasures of The Woman’s Athletic Club of Chicago.

Director of Research

Christopher Phillips has been with Bardo Consulting Group, Inc. for over eight years. Prior to joining BCG, he administrated and coordinated multiple galleries and art groups in the UK. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art, summa cum laude, at the School of Art, Birmingham, UK.

During his tenure at BCG, he has been involved with appraising many estates and collections including museum-quality works ranging from old and modern masters in the R.S Johnson Collection, silver in the collection of the Antiquarian Society in the Art Institute of Chicago, large collections of Automobilia, a retrospective of Hector Guimard for the Driehaus Museum, an Alexander Calder mobile at Marcel Breuer's Grosse Pointe Library, and an original Mercury spacesuit housed at the Saint Louis Science Center.
